MEETING ROOM "STELLINE" – MILAN

The Meeting room "Stelline" has been the first customer to who we have installed our room management system TMS in the original version. In the following we explain briefly this system.
The need of remote controlling a multimedia room is more felt more numerous are the equipments and configurations that the room has necessarily to assume, according with needs.
Even you can not generalize the type and quantity of checks that can be requested for the management of an equipped environment, the needs are in last analysis almost brought back to functions that normally are carried out by buttons, switches, infrared radio-controls, volume controls and eventually controls on serial and lately on IP.
It has been selected to design a series of modules migrating on protocol TCP/IP those items that in the 'conventional' equipped environments were the buttons, the switches, the infrared radio-controller etc.
Mezzi Comunicazione Audiovisiva has developed the heterogeneous multimedia equipment management situated in equipped rooms, basing its functionality on the possibility to install in loco an indefinite number of 'IP modules' on a network LAN 10/100 also preexisting. Each of these 'IP modules' can develop a specialized task accomplishing an established number of functions characteristic in its competence, regulated by the IP address that is previously assigned to them.
In the design phase of the structure ruling the environment you want to manage, many 'IP modules' can be used as many as the equipments or better as many as the functions linked to those equipments you want to access in remote mode; among the equipments also the purely electric appliances are counted.
This concept of modularity put immediately in light an aspect that shows management and economic vantages since, unlike other systems that concentrate the actuation of requested functions in a central unit often sub-used, the system here described has the ambition of decentralizing the equipments control, simplifying both the electric plant part at electric level and the management, at informatics level.
A series of specialized modules have been realized and the yare here briefly described each one has its own web server and then its own IP address.
