SIEMENS ITALIA – AUDIO-VIDEO DIRECTION MILAN

During the past years we have realized many different plants for this customer. The most important has been the wiring of the direction and meeting rooms, some of which equipped with audioconference and videoconference systems to allow the connection, also on IP, with all worldwide head offices. The main multimedia room has been designed to be shared by automatic configurator in six different functional zones. Particularity of this realization is its wiring, that allows the use of the sub-rooms.
During the 2005 this same direction has been amplified with our domotics management system TMS.
The specifications require the installation of a centralized management system of the audio-video devices that will be installed in the sitting-rooms of the interred floor hall and for the ones present in the direction room.
The second need is managing the equipment present in the direction room from a single console, a PC, and can contextually send to each monitor present in the room the desired signal. The easiest and linear solution for this needs is represented by the management central system, called Touch Media System: TMS. Thanks to the control system TMS will be possible to control the plasma monitor, in all its functionalities, as the volume control and the ingresses selection. The device will be controlled by a little liquid crystal console with control buttons, with the dimensions of a wall plaque, anchored at the work table. This operating scheme will be repeated for all the 4 areas present in the meeting zone. The TMS is characterized by RJ45 a network interface that allows the identification in a univocal way at network level through IP address.
To offer a higher control supervision level the supervision and checkup software will be installed on the computer of the meeting area responsible allowing the centralized management of each sub-area. The management system is moreover simplified by the use of pre-recorded macro that allows to execute a sequence, according with a pre-established order of functions by a simple button (for example turn down all the devices at the same time). This same design philosophy is kept also for the part relative to the direction room. In this case all the machines controlled with infrared radio-control or RS232 serial protocol will be checked to have instantaneously under control the alighted devices.
